I want to fly

    I keep hearing more and seeing more on the short comings of ancient civilizations that they couldn't have done  this or that thing with out help from some alien or other world beings.I believe in the strength and curiosity of humanity to learn from observation to create things but not always putting it to the use that people today think it should be put to.Why couldn't the person that made that carving of the wooden bird that was found in the middle east in some tomb have just looked at bird wings and seen the contour from the leading edge[front] of it to the trailing edge [back] to get the design and through trial and error added the stabilizer. Did any one get their first paper airplane to work the first time,but through trial and error you probably made a decent glider with out the help of anyone. Especially not some alien who thought you would be better off  with an airplane. Another thought might be that those flattened hill tops might be places to start your glider from,not alien landing strips. Yes if today you put a motor on a glider it will also fly.Different times different uses. Don't think that way back when there wasn't curiosity, trial and error,imagination with out divine intervention. This goes back to sky gods only meaning the wind, flying things could be blimps etc.Lets hope the person did learn about flying. Cigarettes

       Why is it that when ever I am standing on the street  for a relaxing moment and decide to have a cigarette, that people I wouldn't ordinarily speak to come up and always ask for a cigarette. I thought that the reason for smoking was to withdraw from communication, not to enhance conversation.                                                                              Keyword; Withdrawal; Smoking.   

Congress/amess

With the different ideology's in a two party system that made this the greatest country in the world . There always seems that there comes a time when one part of the system loses sight of ,we the people ,and get lost in the meaning ,what with all of the advantages that are afforded our elected officials. Such as giving them the opportunity to be swayed  by special interest groups, and other perks. Except that they lose sight of the fact that  they are put there to represent all parts of the country. The problem gets out of hand when they get accustom to the life style involved in pursuing this endeavor. While the Republican part of congress has lost it's way in wanting to help all facets of the public, that doesn't mean that the two party system of government is wrong.It just means that ,WE THE PEOPLE,our tired of them forgetting that it is ,for the people, and not for the select few, that they  should be responsible to. So once again they need to be reined in , in the fashion that a Democracy does. It is time to start easing these hard headed, self serving types back in to private life again. While a person has a right to make as much money as they can through the benefits that congress affords them they need not forget that its for a better union of all the people not just the wealthiest and most greedy. Enough is enough the only way to get the Republican party back on track is to start voting for more people that are interested in the welfare of all the public. A Democratic government can only survive when there is an ability to compromise . If there is no compromise then we all lose. Now is a critical time to start easing some of these individuals back home so that they can put themselves to the task of learning or remembering that this is a, we country,and not an only me society. Let them go back to living in the free market again where compromise is the norm ,not  bullheadedness. The time for the Republican in us and the party need to wake up, to the fact this has to be society for us all not just the affluent.                                                               Keyword; Economy, Politics.               

Bush tax cuts

Now that the silent majority [the ninety-nine % ers ] has made it's self more noticeable doesn't it seem that it is about time to start figuring on one subject that everyone can agree on to change . It would be good now that they have come out to be counted, to agree to do everything to repeal the Bush tax cuts. Every cause must have an initial goal, that everyone can see needs to be addressed . In order to prove that they have a large enough base to be listened to. I believe that if it is shown that enough voices [voters] show that people that won't vote for again, for congressmen who have enough perks in their job already to understand that if you can't help your voter base than we don't need as meany Republicans next term . I always thought that was for all the people. So why don't the people stand up under one banner and show what we can do, this is still a Democracy, run by the people for the people, not just the lobbyist, the wealthiest, or for the Congress to look down their noses at . It has been proven in the past that if we want change bad enough we can ---- ----!! New Oil

Why can't the oil that some folks want to pipe clear down to Texas be taken care of up near the Canadian border. How about this thought, putting aside the potential for polluting several aquifers between there and the Texas refineries ,wouldn't it be more sensible to build a new improved oil refinery up closer to the oil. It would seem that a new refinery would better serve the broader economy, more than just pipe and more pipe such as newer valves and other fixtures to broaden  the scope of the out lay of the investment involved. It seems that it would go a long way to satisfy all out side interested party's such as environmentalist, economists, labor unions, etc. plus be more cost effective for transportation before and after the fact.                                                                                         Keyword; Economy, Politics.          

medical insurance

Is it just me or doesn't it seem that all this crying about how bad medicare and medicaid is so bad, is a misnomer, if this is so than how come all these new company's like humana and aarp subsidiarity outfits are trying to get a piece of the pie. Why didn't they have their own plans originally set up in stead of jumping on the band wagon and trying to tell everyone that they are better. Gravity

Watching definitions of gravity on the television seems to show problems that a person watching can't learn the difference between 1 dimensional space and 3dimensional space. It seems to me that a lot of the problems with understanding gravity is to much trying to show gravity's actions from a 1 dimensional image. When if you remember that it is and should be seen as at least a 3 dimensional image. Viewing this in more than one dimension makes a lot of things self explanatory such as how light is bent and remembering that while something is pulled by gravity that everything around it is pulled to the strongest source of gravity. This would seem to go a long way to explain the reaction to dark matter. The action of dark energy could be shown as all the pressure waves from first generation stars down to stars like our own from the start of the universe have caused .                                  Keywords; Science, Gravity.         

Unwanted Knowledge

Isn't it humorous that some times we learn more than we want to think about when we become subservient to our curiosity. Like not caring to eat reptiles but hearing that they taste like chicken. Now we learn that one of the most popular fast foods is descendent from flying reptiles. Misunderstood

Why is there such a snafu about High Fructose corn syrup .High Fructose means more concentrated whether its corn ,fruit or any other kind of sugar/syrup. So what is the big deal . Problem solved

Which came first the chicken or the egg. Inner Strengh

Doesn't it seem that when humanity started out all those years ago when we became self aware,that we fell into a troubled way of thinking. It seems we started thinking that there was something out their [where ever there is ] that was smarter than us because we were smarter than everything else. As we matured we looked to our imagination to find reason and perspective by seeing help in the stars and moon. Than we progressed to trying to understanding the planets as in astrology. This progressed for awhile until people started learning that they were    being taken advantage of as much as not by self  serving individuals. So next it came to belief in the traits of the environment , which proved less dependable than necessary. Then certain folks thought that certain deity's ruled different emotions,[ like the individuals atop certain high places], seasons, and the subconscious eventually to no avail . Finally there was the idea of one God and his prophets . Which finally got to the point of one person on earth to have direct contact to understand god . Well it finally got so materialistic which caused more diversified aspects of the same thought line [as it cost to much to get to heaven]. Why has mankind looked for the reasons from others instead of  themselves from the beginning of self awareness ? The whole problem with this concept is that it comes from the wrong premise. Humanity should by now realize that the truth about self awareness is that the responsibility for that growth of understanding comes from within the individual and their conscious, to the strengthening of their self worth which goes to the building of their self esteem , soul ,etc.           Keywords; Philosophy, Self worth.              

The Elements

Of the four elements Fire ,Earth ,Air ,and Water isn't it peculiar that all but one have life in them. For instance Water has the three types of  life for that food chain grazers, predators, super predators. Earth has herbivores, omnivorous, and carnivorous, Air has flying insects,birds,and raptors. But Fire is the only element that doesn't have any any perpetual growth cycle it only destroys.. Where is the balance ??  Keyword;Questions

Imagination

The down side of increased knowledge is the increase of imagination. Doesn't it seem peculiar how people can find so many strange concepts and convoluted ideas about circumstances in the history of different civilizations. When the most probable answers should take in the mind set of the times involved and not building on the abstract [putting words in their mouth] but the basic awareness of the time in question. Not some abstract thought that is out of touch with the times involved. Twenty first century thinking is a lot more diverse in it's understanding of different ways and adding  innuendos to promote more than there is to a given thought or way of thinking . Classes

I thought that the government of this country was founded on the principle that all  Americans are born to an equal chance to be as they would. Now according to some people of the republican persuasion it appears that there are different rules for some of us as opposed to others. How does that work?? It appears that the more money you have in the bank makes those principles not apply to all. While it is an advantage when you go to court  that advantage may have it's attributes, does it really hold true for the simple principles of our society such as to pay your fair share of dues for living under this government like, equal taxes,for the rich as the rest of the populace. ICBM

The first time that I saw an ICBM missile up close I was really brought to the awareness of the loss that society had achieved by building this thing. I can understand wanting to change some idea through force . After trying as much as you want , to change that particular way of thought through negotiation and others loss of desire to understand a different point of view . As when we fight each other over personal differences of opinion of a number of ideas / ideals on a personal level and show our frustration or growth in maturity of an individual and come to blows. What I didn't care to except was the idea of impersonal loss of so many individuals who lose their lives and thoughts in the aftermath of that reversion to the neanderthal part of our evolution . Just the manufacture let alone the use of this thing frustrates me with the total apathy of lose of all the people that don't give a damn about your argument. But will still die because of others failure to compromise on an ideal. The Soul

If the essence of our body is like the planet.The physical appearance of the body over seen by a magnetic field . Then if nothing can be destroyed, supposedly, in the universe. This must mean that only my consciousness, with the electromagnetic field that encompasses it can only survive through the strength of my character which I have developed in my life. To eventually disperse to the larger magnetic field of the earth . So it really is, what goes around comes around .I can understand the result but still not the reason. Life on earth

Everyone wants to believe in their own type of religion. But no one wants to believe in an all encompassing feeling on all living creatures of earth. But most think of a higher intelligence for themselves. What if we are all wrong and decide to look at thing from a different perspective? Look at the world and all of the divergent types of animals living on it.How about the thought that this planet was suppose to be a giant zoo and that one animal got out[humans?] and started building past its designed purpose.That it has taken to destroying the natural           resources of it's environment and others, plus through it's vanity has forgotten that someone or thing may be provoked about the results of this. Like we do when another animal escapes form our zoos. Maybe we need to look inward about ourselves more and except more responsibility and compassion for our planet and ourselves.  For no other reason then probably when the zoo keeper gets back there may be hell to pay. Presidency

It seems that running the country is in a way like running a household.As head of the family[the country] it is nice to be upward and progressive in running the home and be able to get opinions from all adult members of the family[senate and house]and try to negotiate an amicable result to problems.It is also just as important that sometimes it becomes important to put your foot down and say this is my house[the Presidency] and prove who runs it.You or the kids [republicans],,, it appears that you need to be more persuasive in your manner instead of pampering the spoiled, greedy members of the home[congress]. Light

I was watching a program on the boob tube about flying faster then light ,and this is suppose to be impossible.Well i have some questions about that ,it seems that i heard that light was constituted of waves like or similar to water and sound. Now when people wanted to go through the waves of water they built a compartment around themselves and then away to move it came next. Later when everyone wanted to go thro' the air they changed the shape of the compartment by making the front of it more elongated and stabilized it by adding  wings to contour it to go against the waves of the air that piled up at the speed of sound and after. So now even though we can't go fast enough yet like through water and air waves respectively as we were told at those times. It seems that it's a little early to say that it's impossible. How about this, sense getting closer to the speed of light causes things to get denser and i thought that diamonds were the hardest thing there was and that people can now manufacture them why not build a container / compartment out of them . Why can't that help break through the waves of light . Isn't it just a little early to say that we can't do something when we're not anywhere near it yet. Keywords; Science fiction??

Transition from youth to new age

When I was young after the newness wore of my toys I liked to see how they ran. Now I spend hours just to keep the darn thing to stay working and more time to try and get it to learn what I want it to do. I'm not sure that  I wasn't better off  with a pencil and a good eraser.  With the economy depressed as it is and no jobs available the government should think about a consistent stimulus plan, why not start a program to built up the roads ,bridges and dams around the country.This would help veterans to better adjust back into society after so long away from home,it would decrease the employment problem in the country by putting unskilled folks back to work ,the up side of this would be people having their own money that they earned which would bring back the entrepreneurial spirit back to the populace and who can measure the benefit of that ,more tax revenue for the country, it should bring strength to the economy , which helps prove that this is a democracy of and for the people and might help get the votes more in line with a Democracy where we all pay our fair share .Seems like a win win.         Keywords; Politics ,Togetherness.

Why does mankind think that it needs a higher or omnipotent power? What we never know

     First I thought it was me against them . Much later i found out that i had become what i was against . When we get so self assured that what we feel and do is absolutely right we eventually find out how wrong we can be. To much of one side of a problem ruins both sides of it. Love &life

The ways of love that I hopefully have learned from . First there was love of being with someone but there was lose of freedom for me to be me.Than there was love of beauty and I tried to contain and restrict it.Next there was love because of the danger aspect of it and after while I lost interest. After that was love for the companionship & mutual interests,joy of being with the woman but the physical part of the relationship had problems .          If all of something is100% and you give your all ... what is it when you say that you've given 110% ,150% etc. is that to show that you didn't really put forth all of the acclaimed effort or that the effect of something is really questionable.             Isn't it time for a more equal division in public service toward more women trying for it. Because it appears to me that the good old boys have lost their way or their understanding of it. I may be wrong but i thought that public service was for the public not for lining your own pocket or the pockets of the good old boys club pockets. Dues

       Why can't Americans with their great compassion for others vote for the return of a time of service toward our social benefit and have a required period of time to participate in the betterment of our way of life. It could be to join the peace corp, an alternative help project, community service, or disaster relieve etc. Wouldn't this help deter some person to person crime at least and increase community and/or public interest in responsibility for ones actions and help people as a collective learn that to help your fellow man is more rewarding and useful then taking advantage of him or her. Taking responsibilty

            Why if a person is so proud of their ideals do they often hide behind a mask  to hide their identity. Help the average american citizen

    With the economy depressed as it is and no jobs available the government should think about a consistent stimulus plan, why not start a several yr. plan to refurbish our infrastructure, as in highway improvement ,bridge repair etc. thro' a government plan to revitalize the country. If you continue to increase jobs with government  backing over a period of time 5yrs.+ people will start to gain confidence in themselves and start reinvesting in their own self employment projects. Also the government will be able to side step the all for me profit, banks and lending establishments seem to have. What better way for Uncle Sam to get even/back for the bailout  money fiasco that only helped the rich get richer. By using questionable foreign aid money and get around private lending agents for a win,win situation for the government and the average citizen . Because it seems that sense the top 1% of the people in this country are the only ones that benefit as things are.Why not suppose that 5% of  the people that are in the country are greedy and self centered thinking only of themselves at the expense of the rest of  people. Which leaves around a least 75% of the populous that are more interested in just making a decent wage so that they can invest in themselves sensibly with the benefit going to the country and conversely the majority of the population and its entrepreneurial spirit.   Laws make society feel complacent ,and make them pay attention to their common sense . But are guidelines for prosecution that should consider mitigating circumstances not just for the affluent but for all equally,and with the same fervor. If those Arabian country's can depose of  harsh governments through internet collaboration why can't the American people tweet, blog or otherwise use the internet to complain enough to get the Bush tax cuts for the top 1% tax payers stopped or repealed now,thus going a good ways to fixing our economy . Lets everyone that blogs,tweets,etc. let our anger and frustration be recognized .Stop pandering to this 1%, they get their tax brakes each year ,while people on Social Security don't even get a cost of living increase.It seems that our interest on what we have payed in is going to another Supplemental Security Income account .To Mr. Bush and company .
